Fat Tire Festival!

This summer the Nordic Heritage Sport Club suggests that you GET FAT…fat tires that is. There’s no better time to try mountain biking than at the 6th annual Fat Tire Festival. The festival will be held July 31st & August 1st at the Nordic Heritage Center in Presque Isle, ME. Weekend festivities include a Mountain Bike Biathlon, races for kids and adults, bike rodeo events, trail tours for beginners and a bike terrain park. Also join the Nordic Heritage Sport Club for food, music, films, a large bonfire and more! Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. both days and participants are encouraged to pre-register before the event. Weekend camping on-site will also be available at this year’s Festival, though spaces are limited. The Festival is open to all ages and ability levels and spectators are welcome to come and enjoy the event. Volunteers are also needed. Xtreme Potato Racing We're taking Caribou Cares About Kids on the road - and going to the neighbors during the Potato Blossom Festival! Look for us on Main St in the Food Court 10am - 2pm beside Eye Care Pharmacy Ages 4 to 14 ! Come construct your racing masterpiece at 10am to noon - the races will start at noon, with judging, awards and photo op's directly thereafter! We'll supply all your potato parts, paint and accessories!
